Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 5:25 p.m. officers were contacted by the 45-year old’s parole officer who requested that he be detained. The man was contacted in the 900 block of Southeast Mill Street and was taken into custody without incident. He was detained without bail.
