A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 10:00 a.m. Tuesday for central Douglas County.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said visibility of less than one quarter of a mile in dense fog is expected. Driving conditions are hazardous, due to low visibility. Temperatures around the freezing mark could result in some slick spots on roads. Highways impacted by dense fog includes Highway 38 near Elkton, Highway 138, Highway 42 east of Camas Valley and Interstate 5 from Curtin to Canyonville.

Drivers should slow down, use their headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of them.
