Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged menacing incident early Saturday.

An RPD report said at 1:30 a.m. the 47-year old allegedly threatened a victim with a gun inside the public bathroom near Templin Beach in the area of Southeast Templin Avenue and Southeast Arizona Street.

The investigation concluded that the suspect was inside of the bathroom and had pointed a BB gun, which looked similar to an AR-15, at the victim when she tried to enter the bathroom.

The man was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with menacing and was detained on $6,250 bail. The suspect was released early Monday.
