The Douglas County Commissioners, along with the staff at the Umpqua River Lighthouse and Coastal History Museum in Winchester Bay have announced that the local Artisan Gallery will now be open seven days a week,

A County release said the gallery is located below the museum in a renovated space that was once part of the original 1939 U.S. Coast Guard barracks. The gallery features local paintings, photography, pottery, sculptures, woodworking, jewelry and much more.

Hours are now daily 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
