The Friends of the Roseburg Public Library will hold their Winter Book Sale in the Ford Room next week.

Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Library Director Kris Wiley said this will be a better book sale with gift-quality books just in time for the holidays. Wiley said most books will be priced at $1 and are in great condition with no library withdrawls. Special art books and new editions published in the last three years will be offered for $5. Colorful handcrafted book bags will be available for $5.

The sale will also include DVDs for 50 cents each and a vast table of mass market paperbacks for 25 cents each. The free clearance event will continue inside the library at the Friends Book Store.

Wiley said book donations are welcome during library operating hours. Community members interested in volunteering can call 492-7051.
