A Roseburg man was cited by Roseburg Police for a city ordinance violation early Friday.

An RPD report said at about 12:50 a.m. officers contacted the 33-year old allegedly standing outside a business near the intersection of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard and Northwest Highland Street. The suspect reportedly had an open container of alcohol and admitted to drinking it. He was cited for drinking in public and then was released.
