Roseburg Police cited two people for a city ordinance violation in separate incidents on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 1:50 p.m. officers contacted a 55-year old at his camp at Deer Creek Park in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street because it had a large amount of trash piled around it. The camp reportedly did not align with the Time, Place and Manner restrictions of the camping ordinance.

At 2:05 p.m. a 40-year old woman was contacted at her camp, in the same area, because it had a large amount of trash and rocks piled around it. The camp also did not align with the restrictions of the camping ordinance.

Both were cited for offensive littering and prohibited camping and were released on the scene.
