Roseburg Police cited a man for an alleged store theft on Monday.

Information from RPD said at 3:30 p.m. WinCo loss prevention called and said a man had been detained for shoplifting. 36-year old William Coles was contacted and admitted to the theft. He was allegedly found to be in possession of violation amounts of methamphetamine and fentanyl.

Coles was cited for third-degree theft, and unlawful possession of violation amounts of a Schedule 2 controlled substance and of meth. He was released after the citations were issued.
