The lighting of the 40th annual Douglas County Christmas Tree will be on Sunday November 26th at 6:00 p.m. on the front lawn of the courthouse.

The family-friendly event is free and open to kids of all ages. The ceremony represents a longstanding collaboration between the Douglas County Board of Commissioners, the City of Roseburg, and Roseburg’s First Christian Church. The program features music from Geneva Academy, a Christmas story and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. First Christian Church will have their traditional nativity scene on display, across from the courthouse. Refreshments will be served by the Miss Douglas County Scholarship Program.
