Roseburg Police jailed a man for alleged disorderly conduct early Monday.

A Roseburg Police report said overnight dispatch received several calls about a male with a machete acting threatening in the 1600 block of West Harvard Avenue. The man was called in for allegedly slashing a tent and throwing the contents inside into the mud. The 47-year old was identified and arrested for what was called, “tumultuous and threatening behavior”.  He was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and a parole violation. Bail was set at $2,500.
