State Representative Court Boice has filed for re-election in House District 1.
Boice said, “As we head toward 2024, I look for solid and continuing successes as my job is to do everything possible to improve the quality of life for everyone I represent”. Boice said with all that is required, the past nine months have been very intense, including the summer fires. Boice said, “However, what a privilege it is to be a Public Servant for our three counties”.
Boice said as crime, homelessness and overdoses have all dramatically increased, lawmakers need to start with the repeal of Ballot Measure 110.
Boice noted that he is a life-time resident of House District 1. He was an employer for 30 years before becoming a public official. Boice is a former part-owner of Jerry’s Jet Boat Tours and past owner of Paradise Wilderness Lodge. He served as a Curry County Commissioner for 6 years before becoming a state representative in February of this year when David Brock Smith moved to the Oregon Senate.
Boice concluded by saying, “I’m honored and humbled by the responsibility of representing 75,000 people in my Coos, Curry and Douglas Tri-Counties. We can change the present misguided course we find ourselves. Our Children and Grandchildren are counting on us to make the tough decisions. No one will outwork me and no one will care more”.
