Aviva Health is hosting its annual Vets and Their Pets event on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at its Roseburg main campus on Northeast Kenneth Ford Drive, just north of Costco.

An Aviva release said it is held to honor the women and men who served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

The event will feature a complimentary lunch prepared by Aviva Health staff for veterans and their families, a flag ceremony, the singing of the national anthem and free massages. Other vendors will be on hand to share information and resources with those in attendance.

Veterans are encouraged to bring their furry friends to the event. They will also be treated to a variety of complimentary services like rabies vaccines and basic exams offered by For the Love of Paws. Sutherlin Pets & Grooming will also be on hand offering basic grooming services.

Aviva Health Chief of Staff Ron Harper said, “Aviva Health always looks forward to Vets and Their Pets, a great opportunity to recognize the service and sacrifice of our military veterans”. Harper said, “Douglas County is home to many veterans, and we take this opportunity to say thank you for all they’ve done for our country”.
