Roseburg Police jailed a man on the charge of first-degree criminal mischief on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 10:30 p.m. the 38-year old allegedly damaged at ATM at a business near the intersection of Northeast Stephens Street and Northeast Chestnut Avenue. The incident reportedly caused over $1,000 in damage. The suspect admitted to committing the crime, which was caught on security cameras.

The man was detained without bail.
