Roseburg Police cited a man for DUII-alcohol early Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 3:00 a.m. officers contacted the 35-year old after he was allegedly seen speeding up the hill in the 900 block of Northeast Stephens Street. When he was contacted, officers believed the man was under the influence of alcohol.

The driver allegedly performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests and was taken into custody without incident. The man was transported to corrections, where he provided a breath sample. He was released after being cited. His pickup was released to a sober driver.
