Christmas Tree permits for cutting trees from Bureau of Land Management administered lands will be available from the Roseburg District Office from November 10th through December 24th at the link: https://forestproducts.blm.gov/customer/permitselect/OR
Cheyne Rossbach said in addition, if a person is interested in getting a Christmas tree permit in person, they can be purchased from November 27th through December 22nd at the BLM Office on Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard, during business hours.
Rossbach said the cost for a single tree up to 12-feet high is $5. A household is limited to three trees per permit. No commercial permits will be issued. The permit tag authorizes purchasers to cut their own tree on a self-service basis in either the Swiftwater or South River Resource Areas on BLM-managed lands.
Rossbach said permits and maps are available by phone at 440-4930 weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
