Roseburg Police jailed a woman following an alleged hit and run incident on Monday.

An RPD report said just after 10:50 p.m. the 31-year old allegedly crashed her vehicle into the victim’s vehicle after an argument in the 700 block of Southeast Jackson Street. The suspect reportedly left without giving any contact information. Damage to the victim’s vehicle was well over $1,000. The woman was located later and taken into custody. She was charged with a misdemeanor count of failure to perform the duties of a driver and for first-degree criminal mischief. She was detained without bail.
