5 people were cited for prohibited camping by the Roseburg Police in incidents between Sunday and early Monday.

An RPD report said Sunday at 1:00 p.m. a 50-year old man was contacted in the 200 block of Northwest Stewart Park Drive after a citizen called in and complained about his camp. It was reportedly directly next to the bike path and was approximately 20 feet long.

At 8:30 p.m. a 41-year old man and a 35-year old woman were contacted at their camp in the 2500 block of Northwest Renann Avenue. It was reportedly partially on the bike path at the west end of Charles Gardiner Park. Both people acknowledged that they were aware of the time, place and manner rules.

Monday just after 1:00 a.m. a 35-year old man and a 37-year old woman were found reportedly camping in a prohibited area near the duck pond in the 1000 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard.

All were released after their citations were issued.
