On Friday, Roseburg Police jailed a man on charges from a prior case.

An RPD report said at 5:30 p.m. officers learned the suspect was at a business in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard and that there was probable cause to arrest him from the past case. He was charged with third-degree assault and first-degree criminal mistreatment.

The man was detained without bail.
