Roseburg Police jailed a man following alleged delivery of a controlled substance on Friday night.

An RPD report said about 9:30 p.m. officers observed a vehicle pull into an apartment complex in the 800 block of Northeast Sunset Street, followed closely by another vehicle. Officers contacted 30-year old Adam Jensen in one of the vehicles and confirmed that there was a warrant for his arrest. Jensen was taken into custody. During a consent search of his person, officers allegedly located a bag containing about 4/10th of a gram of fentanyl, a larger bag allegedly with 9.5 grams of fentanyl and metal knuckles.

The report said that while Jensen was on the phone to get a driver for his vehicle, officers allegedly saw a message implicating that the first vehicle was likely the second party to a drug deal. A passenger in the other vehicle reportedly admitted to coming to the location to meet Jensen and to purchase fentanyl. Jensen also allegedly admitted that he was at the location to sell the drug.

Jensen was charged with a felony count of unlawful possession of a schedule 2 controlled substance, delivery of a controlled substance, carrying a concealed weapon and unlawful possession of a weapon. He was detained without bail.
