A Drain man was jailed for an alleged strangulation incident on Saturday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just before 5:30 p.m. an 18-year old thought the victim had their dog in a choke hold and decided to put the victim in a choke hold at a residence in the 800 block of Breier Road. The victim said he was unable to breath while the suspect was choking him and had to flip the man over his shoulder to get him off.

The victim had scratches and dried blood on his neck. The 18-year old was charged with strangulation and was detained without bail.
