A Roseburg man was jailed following a downtown incident on Thursday.

A Roseburg Police report said at approximately 10:45 a.m. officers contacted the 39-year old after a caller said the suspect was drinking a beer and yelling at people in the 800 block of Southeast Pine Street. The man is prohibited from drinking alcohol per his probation. He was arrested for a parole violation. The man was cited for drinking in public and was issued a city exclusion notice. He was detained without bail.
