Roseburg Police cited a man for littering and camping on Monday.

An RPD report said last week the 55-year old had his camp set up on the hillside north of the Roseburg Regional Airport near Northwest Aviation Drive and Northwest Edenbower Boulevard.  At that time, officers warned him about littering and prohibited camping. Monday at 2:20 p.m. the man was still camped in the same location with trash around his campsite. There was water running through a small creek about 75 feet from his camp.

The man was cited for depositing trash within 100 yards of a waterway and for prohibited camping. He was released on the scene and was told if he was there the next day when officers showed up with a work crew to clean the area, he would be arrested for littering.
