A Myrtle Creek man was jailed after a stolen vehicle was recovered early Friday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 4:00 a.m. a sedan was flagged via a camera system as having been stolen from the Diamond Lake Boulevard area. Officers located the vehicle heading southbound on Interstate 5 near the Edenbower Boulevard interchange. The sedan eventually stopped and a 28-year old man was taken into custody.

He was detained without bail for a probation violation. The vehicle was towed as officers were unable to contact the victim.
