A vehicle struck a pedestrian on the southbound freeway on ramp to Interstate 5 at the Garden Valley interchange in Roseburg on Tuesday night.

An Oregon State Police report said just after 7:10 p.m. the motorist was attempting to use the on ramp when his sedan struck a pedestrian that was crossing the intersection. The victim was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center with minor injuries. The driver was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian and was given a warning for not having insurance.
