Roseburg Police cited two people for prohibited camping at Charles Gardiner Park on Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at 7:20 a.m. officers responded to the park in the 2600 block of Northwest Edenbower Boulevard where a 41-year old man and a 35-year old woman were sleeping in their tent which was allegedly surrounded by shopping carts containing their possessions. The report said both have been educated on the Time, Place and Manner ordinance multiple times.

They were released after the citations were issued.
