The Umpqua Symphony Association will have its annual benefit dinner and fundraiser this Friday night beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The theme is “Music Matters in Douglas County”. The event will be held at the Roseburg County Club, northwest of Roseburg. It includes a meal, music from the Douglas County Youth Orchestra, a live auction and a frenzy. Proceeds benefit the orchestra as the organization works to provide training, cultural experiences and performance opportunities for young people in the area.
