Sutherlin Police jailed a transient for an alleged assault incident on Sunday morning.

An SPD report said just before 10:50 a.m. the 34-year allegedly rolled the victim’s fingers up in his car door window, causing an injury to the victim’s hand. The incident reportedly occurred in the 100 block of East Central Avenue. The suspect was charged with assault in the fourth-degree. He was detained on $6,250 bail.
