Roseburg Police cited a man for drinking in public on Thursday night.

An RPD report said at 6:30 p.m. officers observed a 41-year old walking on the sidewalk near the intersection of Southeast Douglas Avenue and Southeast Jackson Street with an open beer. Officers contacted the man and he poured the drink out. The man was also given a city exclusion notice.
