The City of Roseburg and the Oregon Department of Transportation are continuing work on the Diamond Lake Boulevard/OR 138E Design Concept Plan.
A joint release said the agencies are seeking to identify safety and mobility improvements so the corridor better serves the community’s needs, now and into the future.
An online open house will be available from October 19th through November 8th on the project website: Diamond Lake Blvd./OR 138E
ODOT is looking for community representatives who live, work, or travel in the study area to participate in two focus group-style subcommittees to identify transportation barriers and future opportunities. Volunteers may qualify for a financial stipend:
*Youth, seniors or people with disabilities, low-income and working families and people of an ethnic or racial minority: This is intended for people who live along and rely on the corridor for their primary transportation needs.
*Business owners, property owners, and developers: Intended for people who own property or a business within the study area.
