Regional and Statewide Services for Students with Orthopedic Impairments is hosting the education-based 2023 Feeding Seminar October 30th and 31st at the Salem Convention Center.

A release from the Douglas Education Service District said the workshop is designed for practitioners in educational settings in the fields of administration, speech language pathology, occupational therapy, dieting and nursing. The seminar is also open to parents and college students.

RSOI supports educational teams who are responsible for safely feeding learners with complex swallowing and feeding needs in schools. The purpose of this event is to provide professional development that guides school feeding teams to examine their practices and set goals to ensure Oregon’s learners are safe.
