Roseburg received over 4.5 inches less rain than normal for the rain year which ended on Saturday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that 27.51 inches of rain fell at the Roseburg Regional Airport between October 1st of 2022 and September 30th of 2023.  The rain year runs from the start of October to the end of September.

The U.S. Drought Monitor shows Roseburg in a state of moderate drought as of September 26th.

Roseburg got only 0.10 inches of rain on Monday. Conditions should dry from late Tuesday through Sunday night. Highs are forecast to warm to the 80s Thursday through Sunday.
