The Roseburg VA Medical Center will have a Veteran’s Health & Awareness Fair next Tuesday October 3rd.

The event will kick off with an awareness walk at 11:00 a.m. at the flag pole in front of Building 1. October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

VA staff from a number of departments including Intimate Partner Violence Assistance, Military Sexual Trauma, Women Veteran’s Health, Suicide Prevention, Mental Health, Nutrition, Whole Health, Eligibility and several others will be available.

Community sponsors are CHI Mercy Health, Community Cancer Center and Peace at Home Advocacy Center.

Vendors will be on-site until 3:00 p.m. with food trucks on-site as well.
