Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged trespass incident on Wednesday.

An RPD report said just after 11:00 a.m. officers responded after a caller said a transient man was inside a residence in the 500 block of Southeast Douglas Avenue.

When officers arrived, the man was identified as 23-year old Jace Surgeon. Surgeon reportedly broke a screen to one of the windows to access the residence. He was charged with first-degree criminal trespass, second-degree criminal mischief and for a parole violation. Bail was set at $12,500.
