Michael Paul Scholes has been found, according to a release from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.

Lieutenant Brad O’Dell said Scholes was contacted by authorities in Lane County on Wednesday. O’Dell said the 47-year old is safe and is no longer considered missing.

On Friday, a DCSO release said authorities were seeking assistance in locating the man after associates reported that he hadn’t been heard from since June 17th.

O’Dell said DCSO would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating Scholes.
