Roseburg Police jailed a man on charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and harassment on Sunday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 4:10 p.m. the 28-year old was allegedly seen pushing a female into a wall in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. A juvenile reportedly stepped in and told the man to stop. The suspect allegedly became belligerent and spit in the juvenile’s face. Several people in the nearby shopping center said they witnessed the altercation and were alarmed by the man’s violent behavior.

The man was held on $2,500 bail.
