Roseburg Police Jailed a man for an alleged harassment incident late Friday.

An RPD report said at 11:30 p.m. a victim said the 33-year old suspect had pulled her by the hair during an argument regarding their dog defecating in the house, in the 1500 block of Northeast Winter Street. The victim claimed the man choked her but he denied that claim and there was no physical evidence to support a strangulation charge.

The suspect was charged with harassment and was detained on $2,500 bail. He was released on Saturday.
