FIRE DANGER LEVEL DECREASES TO MODERATE FOR ODF SOUTHWEST OREGON DISTRICT

The Oregon Department of Forestry has decreased the fire danger level on the Southwest Oregon District-protected lands in Josephine and Jackson counties to “moderate” as of 9:00 a.m. Monday.

The regulations impact 1.8 million acres of state, private, county, city and Bureau of Land Management lands. Some fire restrictions remain for the public and industrial operators.
