A transient was jailed by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office for an alleged trespass and entering vehicles incident on Saturday.

A DCSO report said at 6:50 a.m. 33-year old Timothy Brady was allegedly trespassing on a property in the 600 block of Ruckles Drive in the Myrtle Creek area where he was also allegedly rummaging through unlocked vehicles. He reportedly attempted to gain access to a residence on the property but was interrupted by a witness, who had his dog chase the suspect off the property.

A deputy arrived and located Brady, and took him into custody. He was charged with two counts each of second-degree trespass and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and for first degree attempted trespass. Brady was detained without bail.
