Five people were taken to the hospital after a school bus versus pickup crash Wednesday afternoon.

A Roseburg Police report said the accident happened at 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of Northeast Stephens Street and Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. The pickup was traveling southbound in the left turn lane of Stephens while the school bus was heading north. The pickup failed to yield to the bus while at the yellow flashing light, and turned in front of it, causing the crash.

Duncan said parents or guardians of the students were contacted. She declined to say which school the bus was coming from.
