Two people were cited by Roseburg Police for prohibited camping on Monday.

An RPD report said at 2:30 p.m. officers contacted a 41-year old woman and a 33-year old man in the 100 block of Southeast Templin Avenue. Their camp was a makeshift raft covered in tarps, and was in the South Umpqua River. They had previously been advised of the camping ordinance, so were cited and released on the scene.
