Three vehicles were involved in a crash near downtown Roseburg Monday afternoon.

A Roseburg Police report said at 3:00 p.m. an officer witnessed the crash at the intersection of Southeast Washington Avenue and Southeast Spruce Street. An unrelated passenger car had stopped to let a pedestrian cross the intersection. Multiple cars had to slam on their brakes to avoid the collision. The driver of a sedan was unable to stop in time, and tried to avoid the collision by swerving to the right, but still collided with a second sedan. When the first vehicle swerved, it also struck a Public Works vehicle.

There were no injuries. All the vehicles were driven away from the scene.
