TEAM 3 TRANSFERS COMMAND BACK TO DFPA

Oregon Department of Forestry Incident Management Team 3 is transferring command of the Tyee Ridge Complex back to the Douglas Forest Protective Association.

The complex will now be managed by a Type 3 organization comprised of DFPA, Bureau of Land Management, Oregon Department of Forestry and contract personnel.

The complex is listed at 7,945 acres and is 90 percent contained. 493 people are assigned to the fires.

Mop up is continuing on the Cougar Creek and Lighthouse #3 fires. The organization is also backhauling fire hose and other equipment and completing repair activities across the complex.
