Covering coastal Douglas County:

A contractor hired by the City of Reedsport will be performing a seismic retrofit and remodel for the Police Department beginning Monday.

A section of 4th Street will be closed from Winchester Avenue in front of the police station through the end of May 2024. The building will be closed to the public but a temporary office will be set up in the parking lot for those needing to conduct police business.

Those in the area should watch for workers. Drivers should use alternate routes. Questions about the project can be directed to the Reedsport Police Department at 541-271-2100.
