The Mercy Foundation’s Tree of Hope Committee is holding a special women’s only fundraising event next Thursday night at TenDown Bowling on Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard in Roseburg.
Livin’ On A Spare will let those attending bowl, eat, drink and party like an 80’s rock star. A social hour starts at 5:30 p.m. with bowling from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Teams and individuals can take part in 80’s costume and hair contests, a silent auction and more. Cost for a team of 6 is $500. Individuals get in for $75. There will be a photo booth and door prizes as well.
The Tree of Hope Committee has provided funds for a number of projects over the years. That includes washers and dryers in schools, anti-bullying programs, outdoor fitness equipment, a Food Heroes program and more. The programs cover the areas of education, relief, prevention, intervention, and treatment for Douglas County Youth.
