Saving Grace Pet Adoption Center will host Paws for a Cause on Friday September 22nd at 5:00 p.m. at Melrose Vineyards.

It’s the largest fundraiser of the year for the non-profit organization and tickets are almost sold out.

This year’s event is presented by Douglas County Forest Products, and will focus on raising funds for the shelter programs, as more animals are in need. A release said Saving Grace continues to focus on compassionate care for every pet that passes through its doors. That includes comprehensive vet care for in-house pets, community support through programs such as their pet food bank and finding forever homes for pets in their care.

Food and wine will be provided by Melrose Vineyards, with beer from Too Shy Brewing. There will be a live and silent auction with a variety of items ranging from pet themed baskets to a back-yard pizza oven, trips, and more.
