In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
Umpqua Actors Community Theatre is opening its production of Einstein Thursday night.
The play is set on Einstein’s 70th birthday, when just after receiving another award, Albert Einstein takes a witty look at his life with the audience, reflecting back not only on Einstein the scientist, but also Einstein the man. The one-man show provides an intimate look into Einstein’s life, giving attendees a small glimpse into the humanity, morality, and simplicity of one of the greatest and most influential minds in history.
Performances are Thursday through Saturday nights at 7:00 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m. through September 24th. Tickets are $17 for adults and $12 for children age 12 and under. They can be purchased at: www.uact-theatre.com, by calling 673-2125, or at the door.
