Sutherlin Police jailed a man following a pursuit on Sunday night.

An SPD report said at about 8:30 p.m. 20-year old Jose Flores-Gomez was driving a vehicle heading northbound on Interstate Five just north of Sutherlin when he allegedly refused to yield to an officer. The vehicle was eventually stopped near the Oakland exit. Flores-Gomez was charged with attempting to elude police in a vehicle and on foot, reckless driving, and recklessly endangering another person. He was detained without bail.

No further information regarding the incident was released by SPD.
