County government offices will be closed on Monday in observance of Labor Day.

A County release said that includes the courthouse, justice building, courthouse annex in Reedsport, fairgrounds office, landfill and transfer sites, the museum and all external government offices.

Some county services will remain open:

*The Umpqua River Lighthouse Museum in Winchester Bay will be open for its normal business hours.

*All county operated parks, campgrounds and boat ramps will continue to be open and accessible to the public during the holiday.

Sheriff’s deputies, 911 communications and other DCSO staff will continue to provide law enforcement protection and emergency assistance for residents. Douglas County Commissioners and designated department officials will continue to work on local wildfire response, regardless of the holiday.
