In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Umpqua Actors Community Theatre is getting ready to begin its 2023-2024 season at the Betty Long Unruh Theatre.

The first production will be Einstein, directed by Dean Remick. The one-man show has Bob Moreland as Einstein. The production is set on Einstein’s 70th birthday. Just after receiving another award, Einstein takes a witty look at his life with the audience. It reflects back not only on Einstein the scientist, but on Einstein the man, as well.

The production runs Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:00 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m. from September 7th through September 24th. Adult tickets are $17, with children age 12 and under admitted for $12. Purchase tickets at: www.uact-theatre.com, by calling 673-2125, or at the door.
