Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation on Tuesday night.

An RPD report said at about 9:20 p.m. the 62-year old was contacted after a caller said he was passed out and intoxicated near the intersection of Northeast Newton Creek Drive and Northeast Slope Street. The man admitted to drinking alcohol which is not allowed under his conditions for parole. He was taken into custody and was held without bail.
